Eight cozy coloring pages from Habadogaga

Meet everyone in Habadogaga, one page each: Juni, Bram, Wick, Dobbin, Oma Velvet, a whyfly, the village and the Lantern Library. Each page has one small question underneath to ask out loud while you color. There are no wrong answers.

Three printable coloring pages fanned out and partly colored: Juni with her patchwork umbrella, Dobbin the mole in a pile of leaves, and Oma Velvet knitting in her armchair.

What's inside

Eight letter-size pages with thick lines and big shapes, made for ages 3 to 8 and a grown-up coloring alongside. They print on letter or A4 paper.

  • Coloring page: Juni with her patchwork umbrella and a whyfly.

What is the biggest question you have ever asked?

  • Coloring page: Bram scratching his head beside his half-built machine.

Draw the missing part of Bram’s machine. What does it do?

  • Coloring page: Wick carrying his jar lantern on a pole.

Wick says the least. What do you think he is thinking?

  • Coloring page: Dobbin the mole peeking out of a pile of leaves.

Dobbin worries. What would you tell him?

  • Coloring page: Oma Velvet knitting in her patchwork armchair.

Who keeps the light in your house?

  • Coloring page: A whyfly with feathery antennae among stars and swirls.

What question is your whyfly carrying?

  • Coloring page: Lantern Lane: little houses strung with jar lanterns under the moon.

Give every lantern its own color of light.

  • Coloring page: Inside the Lantern Library: shelves, a ladder, an armchair and hanging jars.

If you had a library of answers, what would be on the top shelf?

Where is Habadogaga?

Somewhere past the fog there is a little village where every question a child asks grows wings. It flutters off as a small pale moth called a whyfly, and it will not leave them alone until they find the true answer.

Juni asks. Bram builds something that does not quite work. Dobbin worries. Quiet Wick says she is asking it backwards. And in the Lantern Library, Oma Velvet helps the answer shine brightly for all to see.

The stories come in animated episodes on YouTube and in picture books and a coloring book from Second Light Studio:
